Exinda Network - Policy Based Quality of Service (QoS)

Technology	What It Does	Benefit
Shaping and prioritisation	Control the rate of data streams and allocate bandwidth based on priorities.	Prioritise business critical applications and ensure that these are not affected by any other traffic on the network.
Control L7 applications	Control of block based on L7 signatures and manage the use of P2P and gaming applications.	Block or minimize use of P2P and gamin applications which can consume important bandwidth.
ToS/DiffServ Tagging	Set the ToS or DiffServ Codepoint fields in packets to integrate with other QoS environments.	Enable end-to-end QoS. Integrate into the IP provider's MPLS system to guarantee quality through their core.

These technologies are available in all x700 & x800 platforms.
